Lindsey E. Hardegree is the Executive Director, Episcopal Charities Foundation (ECF) for the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. Prior to joining ECF, Lindsey served as the first Development Director for the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and as Special Events & Board Manager for the Alliance Theatre. Lindsey is committed to growing a strong nonprofit sector, and is Co-Chair for the 2017 YNPN National Conference. As an involved member in Atlanta's nonprofit community, Lindsey serves as a member of the Cathedral Chapter (Board of Trustees) for the Cathedral of St. Philip and volunteers with the Junior League of Atlanta, LEAD Atlanta, the Metro Atlanta Chamber's ATLeaders Young Professionals Council, and the United Way of Greater Atlanta. She was the Founding Board Chair for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta (YNPN Atlanta), and previously served on the boards YNPN Atlanta, the 1873 Society Club of the Atlanta Humane Society, C4 Atlanta, and the Young Professional Leaders Advisory Board for the United Way of Greater Atlanta.
In 2015 Lindsey was recognized in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s inaugural 30 Under 30. Lindsey is currently a member of the Leadership Buckhead Class of 2017. Past honors include United Way VIP Board Training Program (Spring 2015), LEAD Atlanta Class of 2015, 2014 New Leaders Council Fellow (Atlanta Institute), 2013 Diversity Fellow (Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Atlanta), and 2013 Nonprofit Leaders 30 Under 30 Award (Georgia Center for Nonprofits/YNPN Atlanta). Lindsey earned her BA in both English and theatre from Wake Forest University and her MFA in performing arts management from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies at Nashotah House Theological Seminary via their hybrid distance program. When she’s not busy working or volunteering, Lindsey enjoys reading voraciously, baking and cooking (and teaching herself to "put up" her findings from the Peachtree Road Farmers Market), drinking a good cup of coffee, and experiencing the arts and culture community in Atlanta.
